Maximizing the Impact of Clinically Based Nurse Scientists in Health Care Delivery Settings: A Multiday Summit
Join us for the nation’s first conference on the role of clinically based nurse scientists in healthcare delivery settings. This multiday in-person summit will feature expert presenters and panelists, generative discussions and breakout sessions, and networking and collaborative forums. Attendees will discuss shared challenges and opportunities for advancing this unique, varied, and rapidly expanding role.
As part of the conference, we will develop a five-year strategic framework outlining the mission, vision, goals, strategic priorities, and crosscutting strategies for clinically based nurse scientists in healthcare delivery settings.
This strategic framework is intended to accelerate the scale, scope, speed, and rigor of research conducted by clinically based nurse scientists in healthcare delivery settings, with the long-term goal of maximizing our impact on the quality, safety, accessibility, affordability, and equity of healthcare in the United States.
Funding for this conference was made possible in part by grant R13 HS30192 from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).*
