All speakers and sessions will take place on Monday, June 16th, and Tuesday, June 17th.
Attendees who sign up in advance to lead writing workgroups will meet on Wednesday, June 18th.

Day One – Monday, June 16, 2025
Conference activities will run from 8:00am until 5:00pm. Sessions will alternate between plenary lectures, panel discussions, and breakout groups to share ideas and experiences. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be served throughout the day, with breaks for networking with fellow attendees. Topics on this day will include the history and current landscape of clinically based nurse scientist roles, an exploration of the mission, vision, and purpose of the role, and an exploration of strategies and infrastructure to support the role.
Day Two – Tuesday, June 17, 2025
Conference activities will run from 8:00am until 5:00pm. Sessions will alternate between plenary lectures, panel discussions, and breakout groups to share ideas and experiences. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be served throughout the day, with breaks for networking with fellow attendees. Topics on this day will include the role of clinically based nurse scientists in learning health systems, capturing the value of clinically based nurse scientists in healthcare delivery settings, and exploring opportunities for multisite and interdisciplinary research collaborations.
Day Three – Wednesday, June 18, 2025
There will be no conference sessions on this day. This will be a meeting day for attendees who sign up to lead a writing workgroup for disseminating conference proceedings. If you are interested in leading a writing workgroup, please indicate this on your registration form.
